Homecoming Feels Like Home Again
Homecoming is always a big week in Huntsville, but 2026 has a little more meaning. After a 2025 season away from Bowers Stadium during renovations, Bearkat football is back on campus. The stadium reopens on September 12 against Tulsa, and one week later Sam Houston hosts Nicholls for Homecoming on Saturday, September 19 at 6:00 p.m. CT.
For students, alumni and families coming back to Huntsville, this is the weekend to bring out the orange and make Bowers feel like home again.
